Who said websites need more than one page? The one page website can be very effective - especially when used as a portfolio website as they let the site take a back seat and let the work shine through.
A website means different things to different people but it has become necessary for most businesses to have a web address (URL).
Some need it as a marketing brochure to save the expense of printing and mailing. Some strategically need a website because their competitors have one. They can put their web address (URL) on their business cards so that prospective clients can refer to it for business information details.
Most of our clients felt it important to have a website. They were unsure as to what to expect from it and pleasantly surprised to learn of some of the benefits.
Not everybody needs a website, but then in these days of telecommuting, not everybody needs an office either.
